Walsall for All CIC – Forward Plan
Now established as an independent Community Interest Company (CIC), Walsall for All is entering a new phase of delivery with the same core mission: to build strong, integrated, and inclusive communities across the borough.
Our forward plan sets out how we will continue to shape a Walsall where people of all backgrounds live, work, learn, and grow together.
Our Origins and Progress
Walsall for All was originally launched in 2018 as part of the government’s Integrated Communities Strategy, making Walsall one of five key areas selected to trial innovative approaches to integration. Since then, we have delivered a range of impactful initiatives, working closely with partners to break down barriers and celebrate diversity.
Our Mission
WFA’s mission remains rooted in creating a borough where people from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate shared values, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to Walsall’s growth and prosperity. Guided by a vision of inclusivity and empowerment, WFA is well-positioned to continue addressing local challenges, fostering resilience, and creating opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive.
Our Objectives
WFA CIC focuses on strengthening its operational model, expanding its reach, and adapting to the changing social and economic landscape post-COVID-19. This includes maintaining and growing flagship initiatives such as the Community Advisors Programme and enhancing collaboration with local stakeholders to address pressing themes identified in the Walsall Community Cohesion Strategy and Social Justice Report. By building on its existing strengths and leveraging opportunities as a CIC, WFA aims to ensure its work continues to deliver a lasting, sustainable impact. Through its commitment to developing new partnerships and aligning delivery models to emerging needs, WFA strives to create a more inclusive, resilient, and thriving community for future generations.
