The Social Justice Call for Evidence was launched to understand the real-life experiences and systemic barriers faced by Walsall residents. Through engagement with over 750 individuals, community groups, and professionals, the initiative gathered insights to shape fair and inclusive policies. Building on Walsall’s Anti-Poverty Strategy and Community Cohesion Strategy (2025–2035), the project placed lived experience at its core. A committee of Social Justice Champions explored themes of deprivation, poverty, and inequality—ensuring that Walsall’s future Social Justice Strategy is grounded in the voices of those most affected.
