About this Event

Over the last few months, brap has been delivering a range of interventions that supports the ambitions of the Walsall for All programme.

They have been working with local groups and organisations to understand better what prevents Walsall realising its integration ambitions. They’ve learned a huge amount but there is more to do and more people they want to connect with. They are now organising a series of conversations that place you, your perspectives, challenges and ambition at the heart of the discussion.

brap are keen to involve, volunteers, activists, staff and others that have an interest in this area, and of course any women that live or work in Walsall are welcome to attend.

This event is one of eight sessions brap are hosting across Walsall to explore a range of themes, however critically at this event, they hope to deepen the conversation and create a space where women can have more honest and open dialogue about what is needed to make Walsall a more inclusive and integrated place.

This event will be facilitated by brap, a Birmingham based equality and human rights charity, with support from our partners ‘Walsall Black Sisters, Aaina Community Hub’ and the Walsall for All Team. Key points from the session will be captured following the event and a short report will be produced.

They are also running a number of sessions across Walsall designed to support people to explore and improve integration and inclusion across the borough. To find out more and book your place, click here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/d/united-kingdom--birmingham/wfabias/

This project is part of the 'Walsall for All' programme, a Walsall wide strategy to improve how communities, live, work and socialise together. For information about this work visit: www.walsallforall.co.uk
